Answers to Common Questions
Most of what people write in about is answered here; look first.
Can I restart a giveaway that failed for a technical reason?
Yes. A draw that stops because of a connection or loading problem shows as Incomplete on My Giveaways, and its Continue button picks it up where it left off.
Proving to your followers that the winner was picked at random
Every draw gets its own code, and the results page it points to is public. Post the code with your winner announcement; anyone can type it into the Giveaway Code Check page and see the same winners, total comments and post link you saw.
Running one draw across several TikTok posts
The new giveaway form accepts up to five post links at once. DrawPicker loads the comments from every post you add and treats them as one pool, so a person who commented on any of them is in the draw.
Nothing happens after I paste my post link
Check these first: • Comments have to be switched on for that post; TikTok lets creators turn them off per video. • The account that published the post must be public. Comments on private accounts can't be read. • TikTok itself sometimes responds slowly. Wait a few minutes, then paste the link again.
The link I pasted is rejected or the post can't be found
Usually the link is the problem: • Open the post in the TikTok app, tap Share, then Copy link, and paste that. Short links such as vm.tiktok.com work too. • A full address looks like https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/1234567890123456789, and a photo post has /photo/ where the video one has /video/. • If the account is private, the post can't be loaded no matter how the link is written.
