What a Verification Code Is
A verification code is a unique string generated for every giveaway completed with DrawPicker. The code is the key to an independent result page belonging to that draw. Anyone who has the code can view the outcome without going through the person who ran the giveaway.
The important part is this: the result page is created the moment the draw finishes and cannot be altered afterwards. The code does not show a claim about who won; it shows the draw's own record.
Why a Screenshot Proves Nothing
Most giveaways announce the outcome with a screenshot. The problem is simple: a screenshot is an image anyone can produce. A participant cannot tell a genuine result from an edited picture, and the only answer you can give a doubter is "trust me".
A verification code changes that balance. The participant no longer relies on your word but on an address independent of you. Whoever doubts the result types the code themselves and sees the answer themselves.
What the Result Page Shows
- The winner: the main winner and any reserve winners.
- Total Comments: how many comments the post carried at the moment of the draw.
- Total Likes: how many likes the post had at that same moment.
- Posts Combined: how many posts were merged, if the draw covered more than one.
- The post: which TikTok post the giveaway was based on.
With those five facts together, there is very little room left to argue about the outcome. Total Comments is the figure TikTok shows on the post itself: replies are never drawn and your own rules filter some comments out, so the number of comments that actually enter the draw can be lower.
How to Check a Code
